CUSTOMER SEGMENTS My company is creating value for parents of baseball players ages 8-16. My most important customers are those that live in utah, colorado, and Idaho. These states do not have a lot of kids fields with mounds already built into the field. They have to use portable mounds more than other close states. This will save the parents hundreds of dollars a year. Customer Relationships My company will hopefully have a better relationship with other stores and companies. Blue and red are Americas colors and the baseball player makes it obvious what it is. It also attracts baseball players when they see this. I like the basic design of this business since there isn’t so much going on. It is simple and just the picture and name. When people see this they will be curious what it is and they will want to click on it and see what it is. Cost Structure The things that I need to pay for are employees to help build and sell my product. I need to hire sales people as well as a retail store and an online website where we can inform and sell to our customers. We also need employees with good customer service skills. It should cost about $3 for me to make and distribute, so I will make $7 per unit. I plan to sell about 2,000 units per month making my profits $14,000. I need about 3 employees to work 20 hours a week for $10 an hour putting me back $600 per month for employees. This will put my ending profit at $13,940 per month and $167,280 per year. Channels The way my consumers will receive my products are through my store, sporting goods stores, and online. I will have my products shipped around the United States. I can also go around to RMSB baseball tournaments as I have connections with them as an umpire and I will sell them at all of the ball parks at the tournaments. This way it will be very easy to get connected with my customers and they will be able to check out my product face to face.
