“Set out on a quest on paths untried,
Leave behind footprints in the sands of time”
The above quote is indicative of my attitude towards my education and life choices that I have made and will continue to make in the future.
I am drawn to anything that requires creativity and originality, which is a significant reason why writing poetry and short stories interests me. The core skills acquired from this interest are transferable and have benefited me in a whole range of situations from dealing with people, playing sport, or while making any notable decisions in my life. It is the reason that I am doing what I am.
In the following paragraphs, I have attempted to describe, my goals, ambitions and career interests and how I believe these can be realized by pursuing my chosen course at the State university of New York at Stony Brook. I have loved the field of computers and have always wanted to do something associated with it. The society comprises of computer aficionados and I’ve had a wonderful experience managing events, organizing competitions, giving lectures and seminars and interacting with my peers and juniors. I have also been elected as the ‘Placement coordinator’ of my class for the year 2002-03 which has been a character building in working as a team and tackling obstacles in the way. All this has added an extra dimension to my personality and has been a part of my holistic education
