To be challenged, rewarded and inspired at the same time is difficult, but these are the first three words that come to mind when I think about the scientific world that has changed and benefited millions of lives. A stimulating world that not only affects, but at the same time is affected by, everyone and everything around us; an exciting world we should welcome and unquestionably take advantage of. The human body in particular is one of the most fascinating subjects I have ever come across, it is by no means perfect but these imperfections are the reasons behind why I am so intrigued and captivated by it. I am very much attracted to genetics and immunology elements of Biology as well as organics in Chemistry. Both sides have a tendency to overlap and work together and studying the two sciences has improved my subject knowledge and understanding of how, why and the way the human body and the elements work the way they do. My studies in Biology have aided in improving both my analytical and logical skills whilst Chemistry has helped me to better my laboratory and practical skills both of which are vital in the biomedical field. Alongside the sciences, I have also studied Sociology and English Language; both subjects have greatly contributed to my analytical and methodical abilities.
