It stands to reason that these practitioners might draw from each other, as a student who cannot help but to glance over at another student's work with the purpose of improvement.
In your own words, what is the difference between a practitioner-scholar and a scholar-practitioner? The Practitioner-scholar model is a learning model used in higher education and is an advanced educational model that has its focus on the practical application of scholarly knowledge (McClintock, (2003). Scholar practitioners are committed to learning new ways to be effective. They do this by using scholarly research and practical application to help clients and colleagues solve problems within their field.
Now, I believe I cans successfully explain a perspective and am able to elaborate my ideas in order to create a better argument and piece. How I believe my writing should continue to grow is by always striving
She a firm believer that all writers will always have more to learn. No matter how hard someone tries to study and try to learn to become a better writer, you cannot know it all. Writing constantly changes and you can acquire new techniques and lessons throughout time. There is always room for improvement and techniques to make your writing better. Writing requires an effort that will help you out in the future and make you stronger and a more educated person.

According to McClintock’s scholar-practitioner model, it expresses an ideal of professional excellence grounded in theory and research, informed by experiential knowledge, and motivated by personal values, political commitments, and ethical conduct (McClintock, 2004). As for Capella's scholar-practitioner learning model, learners acquire additional research skills, apply appropriate theory and research strategies, and share knowledge through scholarly publications and presentations (Capella University, 2003). When one looks deeper within both models, they get to view the many similarities that each hold to one another. Both reflect on how theory and research influence professionals to strive and succeed within their work. The aspects that McClintock’s model supports Capella’s range from acquiring and processing information to extracting and evaluating questions.

I am now able to see the areas in which I lack in but I also recognize my strengths as well. To become a precise writer, you have to take the initiatives that will help you do so. These initiatives consist of working on different academic genres, planning and organizing material, identifying purpose and audience and for revising intentionally. It is also includes reading different types of texts and learning how to understand a writer’s argument and respond to the ideas of others.

Tawney Nodland – As I look back over the past semester of English Composition, I realize that I have grown as a writer. Not onlyhas my understanding of the writing process changed, my whole attitude towards composition has too. This composition course has made a significant impact on my learning experience and has given me tools to take forward into my future educational and professional goals. Throughout this course, I have discovered things about myself as a writer and know some of my strengths and weaknesses. My journey in this English 3001 course during the past ten weeks, and over the course of taking is English class I have grown and learned more that I thought it is necessary for me to know as a student. As a result of this I recognize the education at university is not enough as I thought and if I need to be a professional I should develop my skills in professional way. The method of research, citing facts, and brainstorming ideas was very intense in this class. Reading various arguments debating the topic I want to write on, was very challenging and time consuming.
