Why are some school policies and rules incorporated into Edison High School and what is the reasoning behind it? In public schools there are alot of policies incorporated into the rules that affect the daily lives and experience of a student in high school. When you fail a test there can be two reasonings as to why you failed or got a lower score than you would have expected when you are taking the test. One reason can be is if you completely don't understand the topic or material taught to you in class which can be a perfect reason to do test corrections because in this situation a test retake would not be a great idea. Another reason a student could have failed a test is if they did not take the time t study for a quiz/test and also would maybe give the decision if they really deserve the opportunity to retake a test if they didn’t even study for it.
