Intro: Want to know why having no three month traditional break might actually be good for people? Some people believe that school should carry on without the traditional three month break, while some other people believe that there should be the traditional three month break. Although schools should have the year round school year instead of the, traditional three month break.

Reasons 1: Regular 180 school days each school year was started when kids were needed to work in the fields. “At that time, this system was implemented because children were often needed to work in the fields during the summer.”(Slndhu Pg.1) “Generally, year-round schools will continue to operate on a 180-day system, but those days will be spread out differently …show more content…

“Some schools with year-round schooling utilize something called the “multi-track system.” This quote shows that students get more time for vacations. “Essentially, the school is divided into four or five different “tracks”. The four or five tracks give year round school kids the same amount of days of as normal school kids. (SIndhu Pg.1) This makes it so that you have more opportunities for multiple short breaks. This makes it so that we have good careers that are constant throughout the year. Counter Argument-
Some people believe that school should be nine months instead of year round so kids could enjoy their summers.

Rebuttal- However, with year-round schooling you have more time to spend with friends as you’re in school together longer. Also you have more breaks to spend time with your friends. Conclusion-
In the end, it would be best for people if schools didn’t have the traditional three month break. Not having the traditional three month break will eventually help people’s lives in the long run.
