We offer the following three reasons to support our side. Overcrowding, frequent breaks, and benefits to low income families.
Some people think school should be year round, I strongly agree with this. People will get to see their friends more often. Also, a less chance of students forgetting info. Lastly, students would have more free time throughout the year. This is why school all year round is a great idea.
Many people in America believe that education systems seem to be declining rather than improving. One of the solutions offered to combat the declining quality of education is year-round schooling; thereby allowing students to go to school for a shorter period of time in a year and have longer breaks between periods throughout the year as opposed to the more common type in which there are ten months of schooling and then a two-month summer break. I believe that all students should have a break where they can take the necessary amount of time allotted to relieve themselves from the stress of a busy schedule. Public schools should not have year-round schedules because they are ineffective, would lower student’s grades, and result in less time for students to relax and participate in extracurricular activities. Year-round schooling is a relic of the past, and it did not yield favorable results.
Is year-round school a good idea? School districts are debating on year-round school for local districts. The government should not make year-round school, it will only make students more stressed.

Schools should not go to year-round school because teachers may not be able to find a babysitter and teachers don’t have time to tidy up. Even though year-round school helps kids remember what they learned schools should not go to year-round school. First teachers might not be able to find a babysitter for younger kids.
School should not be year round. All around america the amount of year round schools are growing and so are the advantages and disadvantages of a year round school. Year round schools run 180 days but spread out over a whole year. The amount of breaks about every six weeks can bring lots of advantages and disadvantages to parents, teachers, and students. Year round schools can create stress but can also affect students, parents, and teachers in a positive way.

My school system wants to make year round school possible, and this is an improbable idea. Year round school with longer breaks will help students be less bored, not forget information, and have more free time. When I return from summer break, I can’t even remember what 2 + 2 is! Summer break is too long and school should be year round with longer breaks throughout the year. We all know the terrible feeling of having nothing to do.

Year-round school should be required because YRE multi-track calendars can enroll more students, it increases retention, and stress is minimized.
However year round school has multiple breaks of school and the breaks are like 3 weeks long so it would be hard to forget what happened in the school year. But I do not think Florida should go to year round school it is distracting to students and teachers. First of all,Teachers need time to get ready for the next school year and that can't happen if the break is only 3 weeks long. Year round school can be a problem for teachers if their next class come the classroom will not be ready so the students will not get education they need. According to the text “National education Association, 2014” it states “Those who teach at year round schools, where the school year begins a week after a previous year ended find themselves in a different situation.”
School Year Round Why would anyone want to go to school a year-round? (Rhetorical Question) School should be a year-round because then students will not forget their learning, be more focused on their education and it will be easier to earn their credits in a shorter period of time. Firstly, A school year-round should be offered each year so students will not forget the learning. Many students that come back from their summer break most likely struggle on what they have learned, for instance, everyone ignores most of the subjects and methods that everyone discovered last year.

Thirdly, a second benefit is that the year-round schooling system helps solve the problem of overcrowding. (Zubrzycki 1). Since all students wouldn 't be in school all at the same time, it eliminates the overcrowding problem.
Whether year-round schooling should be enforced in Florida schools has been a recent debate. Florida schools should not take part in year-round schooling schedules because it makes sports and jobs very hard to get too, also year-round schooling gives teachers insufficient time to prepare for the next school year. Even though year-round school gives students more breaks, there is no proof that it helps students academically. So traditional school is better and should stay in Florida.
