Essential Question
How can I make changes in my school environment?
Lesson Overview
“Environmental literacy is essentially the capacity to perceive and interpret the relative health of environmental systems and take appropriate action to maintain, restore, or improve the health of those systems” (Roth as cited by Saribas, 2015, p. 84). The students will be introduced to environmental literacy through investigation of the different ways the environment can be impacted by people as well as what can be done.
