Selena Quintanilla, one of the most iconic figures in Latin America, excelled in many talents while captivating the world with her remarkable abilities. Her strong ethics and morals have destined her toward a path of revolution that has been inherently utilized by a vast majority of Latin Americans throughout the decades. Although her life was cut short by a distraught catastrophe, the impact she provided upon many has not gone unnoticed. Many of the traits that she chose to cast upon us were guided by her prominent upbringing. While Selena went on to become one of the most recognized Latin advocates, her childhood consisted of an equitable amount of similarities that many Latino children face daily. Selena found a new passion through music from her father's teachings. This led her to pursue a music career, ultimately changing her whole early childhood towards becoming one of the most iconic superstars in the world. This dismissed many Americans as she was setting new boundaries in Latino history, becoming an idealistic fantasy family that has escaped poverty and expectations. Selena, although not her first language, went on to compose many hit songs in Spanish that helped to momentum many of her advocacy. Despite Selena recognizing she was becoming a new sensation, she was able to maintain a positive mindset to achieve many of her dreams. Focusing on music, she was exhaled to act as a role model as she was received by a large dynasty to perpetrate upon the perfect figure to be able to represent the Latino American culture. This was carried out through the community, utilizing inclusion and representation through her lyrics.
