Success to me means when you do something you love, when you accomplish your goals. Self esteem takes a big part in accomplishing your goals in life because if you have a negative feeling about yourself you will not put any effort in doing anything. In the article Teaching kids Self-esteem written by an organization called Love Our Children USA it stated “kids need parental acceptance in order to develop a positive self-image¨ this means that kids always want their parents to be accepting them and making them feel good about themselves. Its important for a parents to make their children feel loved. If a kid doesn't not get that feeling from their parents the will soon start to think that they truly don't care about him or her. They give examples on how you can raise your child's self esteem and they said to not have judgemental attitudes towards them. Judgmental attitudes meaning as don't pick on your kids even if you might not think it's that serious if can hurt them in a very powerful way and it will be stuck with them. Begins teaching them and promoting respect within family ¨. It doesn't need to be with only within family they should teach them to respect themselves and to love themselves.
