The Three Methods to Success Many young ones today wonder about their upcoming future. What does it take to be successful? What does it take to make ones loved ones proud? According to the article “The Genius of Jobs” by Walter Isaacson and the article “The Secret to Raising Smart Kids” by Carol Dweck, people can obtain success in many different ways. Some people achieve success through being smart, while others gain success through applying the qualities of a genius, or having a growth mindset.
Success is something you attract by the person you become. For things to improve, you have to improve. For things to get better, you have to get better. For things to change, you have to change. When you change, everything changes for you.”
Kewauna’s journey Kewauna used to be a troublesome kid, but after an uplifting intervention, she turned her life around by using perseverance, passion and determination. Firstly, Kewauna uses perseverance to change her life direction. For example, Paul tough, Author of How Children Succeed wrote about a Chicago teenager named Kewauna who was able to turn an almost lifetime of bad decisions and bad grades into one of success (Tough). Thus, perseverance was one of the three key traits in her road to success, which allowed her to graduate and enroll into college. Secondly, she shows passion because she strives to do what it takes to pass her classes.
The first factor I attribute my success to is my deep involvement in sports. My choice to forfeit much of my time to pursuits in field hockey keep me fit and most importantly balanced. I also am very focused on the future; I set lofty goals and I understand the difficulty that may impede me due to systematic barriers based on gender etc, but instead of being discouraged I work even harder to work toward their accomplishment. Finally my parents are supportive in my pursuits even if they disagree with my opinions, which is very helpful; they support my goals and push me to push
Each and everyone has our own idea of how success looks like. But for me, success is something that you’ve worked so hard to get to that you now have pride to have or be. But success isn’t so easy to reach. There's going to be challenges and times where one thinks they won't succeed. Its when you’ve flourished to the point where you’re happy with the placement of your life.
Success is different for different people. Success is special and individual for each person or group. For a kid, success maybe means winning a game; for a researcher, success means solving a problem or creating a new device; for a football team, success means being the champion. So what is success? In my opinion, success is when you have achieved what you have targeted in your life.
What does success mean to you? Success can mean many things to many people. Some people may define success as simply an achieved goal while others define success in how much power or wealth they achieved. I think success can be defined by not only how much power or wealth you achieve but through hard work and perseverance to achieve or accomplish the goals you set for yourself as well as how you overcome obstacles faced while you try to achieve your goals in your personal and professional life. An example of a person who achieved success is Derek Jeter.
What is success? Success is something that changes from one person to the other. Each person’s definition of success is different from the next person’s. It all depends on what that person values most in life, and what their long-term goals are. Basketball coach John wooden described success as "Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming,"(Wooden).
Being Successful is somebody who has a goal or objective and accomplishes it. Some people's goal is for them to graduate from high school or college. Or not giving up from something like working out at the gym and losing weight or gaining muscle in their body and if they become determined and set their mind to and and they complete it then their goal is successful. But what most people want to be successful in is a job people want to get hired and earn a lot of money for they can spend and for they can a live a good life. Being successful is something that you should be proud of.
Things Needed to be Successful You may look at the TV and ask yourself, “How did THEY become such a success?” Well at every point in someone’s life they want to be something or do something with their life. In order to conquer that, you will need, support, effort, and school.
There are many steps to succeed in school. There are three steps of becoming successful in school, first you have to go to class daily, work hard, and use your knowledge to do what is right. First you have to go to class because grades are a huge impact for most athletes. As a basketball player, if your grades are below C, you’ll find yourself on the bench watching the whole season, unless you’re an unstoppable machine on the court.
The analysis of evidence-based foundation of writing instruction is extremely important. Troia (2014) states “Writing is critical to student success in education despite the importance of this success in writing is a struggle for a large segment of the population, and nearly 75% of the nation’s children and adolescents are not able to produce texts are judged to meet grade level expectations”. Writing is extremely important to people because the future holds a high expectation for students to learn to write because jobs are requiring higher expectations for their employees especially being able to write. Writing in everyday life is very important to keep students and adults functioning in life and to be able to succeed and support themselves
Success is a word that goes through many people’s minds throughout their entire life. Everyone has a different view of what “success” is and what it means to them to be successful. While growing up, I was surrounded by this idea that being successful is being rich and to have a top paying job like a doctor or a business woman. Now that I’m older, my ideas of success have changed but that's what growing up does to you. I’ve learned that there is more to success other than being rich and affording the material things.
Success is found in all goals that are accomplished no matter how small or large that they are. Being successful doesn 't always mean that one must accomplish goals that are hard. To others it could be marrying the person they love. To be happy with that person for the rest of their life is a big success. Being successful at an educational standpoint would be graduating college with a degree in a future career.
What does success mean to me? It means accomplishing things in life and reaching your goals. Everyone has a different view of what success actually is. Success also means setting a goal and reaching it in a time frame you set for yourself. For example I believe finishing college and gaining a career in a field you love is being successful because it is a goal that can be achieved.
