Serial killers are murderous criminals driven by many incentives, most psychotic but the reasoning to their killing sprees can range, many times there is no legitimate purpose. So, it is obvious that serial killers spark tension and fear within communities around the nation, however there is not just one type one type of serial killer but many, some of the most strangest and interesting killers are visionary and lust driven, between the two lust killers show more violence and planning associated with their killings. The motive of being commanded by a higher power or by voices in the killer’s mind is a typical pattern seen by criminologist while studying visionary killers, slaves to their twisted thoughts, these visionary killers usually are driven by a mental break over all and are just incapable of to outlet their thoughts. Whereas, lust killers show much more aggressive and unsympathetic motives in their murders due to the fact that they kill solely for personal gain/pleasure. The motive of lust killers is unlike any other serial killer type and just showcases the true evil and mental derangement of lust killers. Many lust killers practice necrophilia, sex with a corpse, and other actions like necrophilia that just further the argument that lust driven killers have a more deranged and twisted intent to kill. Evading the police is no easy task, so it is of no surprise to why people who study the killing criminals gravitate toward this. It is because it shows the killer’s overall success in what they do and whether or not they care enough about their own lives to run for it. Visionary killers are more often than not caught easily due to their psychotic state being spontaneous and the killers leaving evidence at crime scenes that help the police catch the criminals, as they usually do not try to run more often than not visionary killers are caught within a matter of weeks. However, lust killers show a much more different approach in their crime acts and are very secretive and sneaky in their killings, leaving little to no evidence to assist the police in catching them. In most cases lust killers go on killing for years before being caught by law enforcement, sometimes the killers just stop being satisfied with their habits and end up turning themselves
