My chosen leader for this assignment was my former director of the organization I currently work at, Pennyrile District Health Department, Jim Tolley. He had a vision of a big plan, and the future of not only the organization, but the communities that we serve. According to the requirements of an effective vision, I believe he was a leader to help the organization see and work towards the vision. Four requirements of a effective vision are: establish direction and mobilize the organization, communication, detail on employees part of the vision, and uplifting and inspiring (Manning & Curtis, 2008).
And thus, it lies upon the leadership of a CEO to motivate everyone at the organization to embrace the mission and vision of the organization.
MAJ George E. Milevich L100 The 4th ABCT is showing signs of an organization that is not functioning in a manner that would maximize it’s potential. It is easy to see, that in the past the brigade was exemplary. It was mission focused and the soldiers were dedicated to the mission of this organization. Most importantly, the soldiers of the 4th ABCT could solve problems that came up and were impowered to do so at the lowest level.

It is fair to mention that leaders lead, whereas teams tag along leaders to achieve goals and specific aims. However it is seen that perfectly performing teams have extraordinary leaders as their celebrated members. In our every day life,
My tenure as the 10th President of UNLV began January 5, 2015. As I near the completion of my first year - now in my twelfth month in the position - I felt it would be useful to summarize the progress the university has made during this period and highlight my focus for the second year. This progress report is especially important since the first six months of my tenure were consumed by the 2015 Nevada State Legislature and my onboarding into the presidency. Through the interviewing process during the fall of 2014 and throughout my first semester in the job during the spring of 2015, it became clear that UNLV is a complex organization with challenging issues and that I would need to work with everyone to help lift UNLV to top tier status.
Leaders in the SOF environment must develop vision and direction; this is done by mapping out where you need to go to “win” as a team or an organization. Leaders must then be able to communicate that vision and direction in a clear and concise manner to their subordinates. Leaders must then be able to understand how to motivate and inspire their subordinates in order to achieve those end-states. If no one setting a vision and no one is being inspired, it can cause serious problems in the long

A good leader inspires his team with good ethics, encouragement, trust, commitment and overall sense of wellbeing. Leading by example is in fact a reality. A team that is led by a most creative and innovative leader with an aim to succeed will in fact be successful if that leader has the will and know how to make that team operate in one accord.
