Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation is a Canadian “full – service” retail drug store owned by Loblaw Companies Limited which acquired Shoppers for $12.4 Billion in 2014. The company was founded back in 1962 by Toronto pharmacist named Murray Koffler. Koffler’s belief was that there could be a nation wide organization of pharmacies that can provide consistent, personalized customer service.
