Should College and University Be Free Like Elementary School, Middle School and High School??
I have wondered for a while why college isn’t free. College not being free isn’t the best for a couple of reasons. Also, I remember when my mom was going to college. She was able to graduate but college is a lot of money. I also know of a couple of people who have dropped out of college because again, it's a lot of money and they can’t afford it. How come college isn’t free but pretty much all other education is? College should be free because a bunch of people skip out if they don’t have enough money, they are more successful if they go, and there are a bunch of pros to going. A bunch of people skip out on college because they can’t afford it. Student debt will not make people skip out on college or anything similar. It will also help students better choose an enjoyable major. Lastly, it will help people that might have a lower income or people with a lower amount of money to graduate. “Student debt will no longer crush the younger generations.” (STAFF) The quote I chose supports my paragraph because it is a pro to college being free. More people would go to college if it was free. People skip college because of financial purposes, Also, they are proven to be more successful if they go.
