Something about people cheering on their former college or their favorite university can really bring out the fan in everyone. Some states do not have professional sports teams so cheering on college teams is the closest thing they have to the professional sports team experience. Players could make just enough money to be forced to make choices that can pave the way for more responsible decision making when the financial stakes become high.
