Marijuana is, and will always be, one of the most widely used and accepted illegal drugs across the world. Recently, however, there’s been a significant amount of attention given to the debates arising over the legalization of medical use of the drug. It can help in addressing numerous health conditions, creation of jobs for hundreds of people, helping the country to meet some of its debt, helps save millions of available acres besides continued raising the status of the country. The increased revenue could be used in improving infrastructure in the country. The discussion in this paper will discuss the reasons as to why marijuana should be legalized in Australia.
