The invasion of Iraq was led by the United States and the United Kingdom, in 2003. The purpose of the war was to topple the government of Saddam Hussein and it started in 2003 and ended in 2011. The United States should remove Saddam to save Iraq people and defense its own. Saddam is Iraq’s president who had support terrorists and trained them for years constantly, which is a big threat toward other parts of the world. The success of September 11th attack would burst their confident and those similar attacks would keep happening if no one came out and stop them. Terrorists attacked many innocent people and destroy buildings in the different countries around the world without receiving serious punishments. The United States invaded Iraq, as the heart of terrorism is to stop such things from happening and remove Saddam who supports and fund terrorism. The United States has the correct cause to invade Iraq, as September 11th is an example of what terrorists would do to us if they have enough time and resources to do it. Saddam Hussein is a big threat to the west according to George Bush “The danger is already significant, and it only grows worst with time.” The war had been declared by US government which as an elected democracy that they have right and lawful authority.
