If America was truly free I wouldn't have to be afraid of getting stopped by the police. I was born in another country, but was raised and lived in America my entire life, it's my home. My whole life I've seen citizens discriminate my ethnicity just for not being born here. I've seen family members being forced to leave America just for wanting to work. Undocumented immigrants shouldn't be forced to leave America because many come looking for better opportunities, safety reasons and to help increase job opportunities for society. Undocumented students both study and work hard at their jobs to help pursue their dreams. There are 97% of immigrants that are either employed or are in school. Those students that cannot afford going to college join the military. Luckily, many colleges give out full-ride scholarships for undocumented students. Many undocumented parents try finding ways to help support their families. In order to do that they come to America since their country doesn't have the same amount of opportunities that America has. In America they try finding better housing and a better job. Most of the time undocumented immigrants tend to work in outside jobs like construction and landscaping. Not all immigrants come just for better housing and a better job. Other immigrants come to America due to safety reasons. Violence is always increasing in most of Central America, for example countries like Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico. Juan, a Honduran immigrant, quote “ You don't always migrate in search of the American dream instead you go for your life.” In other words, many leave their homes not wanting to but do because they have no other choice.
