We should go to mars because it would teach us a lot about our solar system and some of the other planets in our solar system. It would help us learn if mars is suitable for life. It would also be good to colonize mars. There are a bunch of good and bad reasons that we should go to Mars, and a bunch of why we shouldn't go to mars.

We should go to mars because if Earth is not a suitable planet for life, then we could go to mars as a backup planet. Mars is also the most similar planet to Earth. If we go to mars, then we could find if it is suitable for life and send people to live there as a second Earth. Once we get to mars, then we can build a space station on mars and send people from mars to planets that are far away from Earth. It would help us get to other planets faster. We would be able to use Mars as our first planet for research and then we would go to planets that are close to mars and we would be able to study those planets. …show more content…

If we went, then we would be able to learn a lot more about what is in the crust of Mars. We could also find life in the water on Mars if we find any. It would teach scientist about what kind of life can live on other planets. It would help us to see if there are any other new life on Mars which might not be on Earth. We would use the old lava flows under volcanoes to make a spot for people who go to mars to make a base and to be safe from falling meteorites and solar storms from the sun. Mars can be suitable for people to colonize. It would teach us a lot more about traveling to Mars, and if Mars ever supported life.
