Classical India vs Classical China In China and India , they were different in ways like how they thought a government should control a civilization. China was isolated and when constructing the ideals of their government they were practically blind unlike India they had ideas to build upon. The development of political ideas had some similarities such as how religion had great influence on political views. But the civilizations differed when it came to how leaders governed the civilization and how they managed to create their political views for a basis of their government. Both China and India were influenced by the religion at the time , which affected the political views in both countries. In China the political views of leaders controlled how their land was governed the same with India but it was very different. In China Shi Huangdi tried to control all the land by himself with bureaucracy to try to keep people in check. Unlike China, India had governors for each land that was conquered and they controlled that land anyway they wanted and only the land they had conquered. This is very different in their early development , why well the leaders of China had all the stress laid on them because they had to control the land. In India governors had land to control small portions and orders came directly from them. This shows how differently politics were thought up in each civilization, the leaders had different ways of controlling certain land and was nowhere near the same strategy as the other. Also since each governor didn't have much to control in India they were more lenient and less harsh unlike the chinese rulers who were harsh and hated.
