1 Julius Ceasar and Malcom X comparison Doing something or acting a certain way is having power. Everyone holds so kind of power in them; some people are okay having little to no power others however long for power feeling as if they are nothing without it. Looking back on two famous or popular people in history, both Julius Ceasar and Malcom X where known for their power and being leaders. They would stop at nothing to get what they wanted and their power eventually led to their destruction.Their lives are very similar yet very different. He was married to the daughter of a noble man and they had a child. He was told to divorce her or face execution. He decided to go into hiding and had successfully done so. After that his power started to motivate him. While sailing to Greece to further his studies he was kidnaped by cilician pirates and held for ransom. He remained in good relations with the pirates while the money was raised and told them after hewas free he would have them crucified. His parents died young so he was in and out of foster homes and jail cells. He was later found by the authorities in Boston and he was charged with robbery. He was sentenced eight to ten years in a Charleston prison. While serving time his want for power started to grow. He took interest in books and would read many in one day, also he was visited by numerous siblings who had joinedthe nation of Islam. Unlike Caesar, Malcom's intentions where good. He wanted better things for his fellow African Americans. He had lost a lot of family and friends to the kkk. From a young age he was told that he wouldn't be able to do certain things because he was African American. Because of this he was determined to have power. He wanted to make a difference. After he was released in 1952 he relocated to Detroit Michigan and joined forces with the leader of the nation of Islam to spread the word of his new way of life. To the nation of Islam he was an incredible leader. He became overseeing minister of a temple in Harlem, Boston and helped to found temples in Philadelphia and Hartford.
