Many could say that Romeo and Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu, aren’t really similar. Although, one might say that they both have an idea of what it feels like to be lovesick. Lao Tzu once said, “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”(Brainy Quote). Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous plays, and was written by William Shakespeare. Romeo is one of the main characters in the play, not only is he lovesick, but he is also kind-hearted and caring for another, especially when it comes to his love Juliet. Throughout the story he goes on and on about the love he has for her and couldn’t live a day without her. As you may know Romeo is a Montague and Juliet, the love of his life is a Capulet. Even with Romeo knowing who she is he still decided to marry her, while taking a huge risk. One time Romeo expressed his love for Juliet by saying, “O speak again, bright angel!
