When examining "Snow White" from the Archetypal Literary Theory perspective, it becomes clear that snow white represents purity and portrays innocents in every way avoiding corruption of evil within the world.
The color white illustrates purity and peace. As Described, Snow White is "white as snow" and is the "fairest of them all" representing goodness and purity. Snow White represents the good figure and the queen represents solely evil. Proven by the actions of the queen continuously trying to kill snow white this forms the evil figure as well forms the task of good vs evil. The huntsman is the evil figure with a good heart when asked to kill snow white, he instead allows her to live leaving her in the forest. Darkness represents Snow
