This wax fills the tiny cuts and scraps of the polyethylene base, that snow tends to stick to, and creates a smooth surface. This helps protect the base of the snowboard from being worn and makes the board glide over snow easier. During roller derby you have certain rules you have to follow and for religion you have to obey by certain guidelines. Roller derby, the skates have to follow rules of what to do and not to do. When you are participating in religion or in derby use have to do certain things to be apart of the group and to stay in the group. You play derby and believe in a certain religion because that is what interests you.
