Throughout the years, people have told me that my theory has been one of the best theories to ever be known. My theory is more of a cognitive development rather than the importance of peer's like Piaget. Also, my theory focuses more on the role of language, and step-by-step changes in childrens thoughts and behaviors. I once had arugued that "language is the one tool that promotes thinking, and develops reasoning and supports cultural activities that involve reading and writing."(Lev Vygotsky and Social Learning Theories) I believe that my theory has helped children grow and become more advanced learners. This theory helps students interact with a more knowledgable person to learn more and think more. I believe that social interaction will lead to changes in a childs behavior and thought process. "The sociocultural theory consists of several elements to help implement it."(Lev Semyonovich Vygotsky) The first topic of my theory is that children construct their own knowledge. Which means they speak to themselves and make their own plans throughout a lesson. Or for preschoolers, they are learning from their skills and exploring the idea of them. These two levelsof development are, actual development and level of potentional development. Actual development is when its the upper limit of tasks a child can perform by themselves.
