When I was 10 years old I looked up communism, and it meant ‘a society where property was public, and everyone would be helped according to needs.’ This confused me because I had always heard of communism in a negative context. Such a society would mean that, everyone would have food, water, shelter, an education and job. This is the ideal society. So why was it talked about with disgust and horror?

Perhaps if this presidential candidate were elected as President of The United States, then this fantasy world of common motivation, and joint efforts could become a reality.

Communism is the supposed solution to supposed problem that can be observed in capitalism. It is easy to look around and see that some individuals seem to be paid unfairly. Communism attempts at being a savior by removing the need for money however it only makes the entire situation worse. There are many problems with communism, one of the primary ones being the lack of incentive. In America a capitalist society, those who work hardest and smartest generally tend to succeed in life.

In brief, both communism and socialism have benefits and disadvantages. Neither communism nor socialism is perfect in terms of the form of government or economic system. Both find a route to make the country equality and reject class divisions and much more.
