The dehumanization of soviet union during World War Two resulted in the mass-murder of millions of soviet union soldiers and a long-term war. Nazi Germans, under the name of Barbarossa, and police authorities intended to annihilate communists, jews, and people they perceived dangerous because they were characterized as forming the "racial basis" for the Soviet state. Hitler wanted to form an long-term german rule, and with approximately 207 divisions and 650,000 troops, they attacked the soviet union. As they progressed, they began mass-murder operations. After months German armies realized that they were not equipped and had not thought it through and failed the mission.
