The experiment conveys how the percent compositions of the sugar in the brand sticks of gum were different, even though the nutritional facts portrayed that the sugar content should have been the same. Based on the data, it is determined that Trident has a lower composition of sugar in the gum, in relation to Orbit. This is shown, as after 5 minutes of chewing the gum, the total mass of Trident dropped by .94 grams whereas the mass of Orbit gum dropped by 1.18 grams. The percent sugar composition in the Trident gum was 50% whereas Orbit had a sugar composition of
My third hypothesis is that the Member’s Mark will hold the most pennies when it is dry because Member’s Mark is two-ply and appears the thickest. PROCEDURE To prepare for both experiments I will acquire five brands of toilet paper, rubber bands, and a stopwatch from local stores. There is no control group for any of the experiments because I am comparing brands of toilet paper.
My experiment is elephant toothpaste were foam shoots out of a container or glass. I chose this experiment because I thought it would be fun to see foam shoot out of a bottle. You get to mix curtain substances together to make elephant toothpaste. I thought if I get a small bottle then the most foam should be produced.
If they had eaten it they would not get a second marshmallow. The test showed that a large percentage of the kids who ate the marshmallow did not succeed in their hero’s journey. Also a large percentage of the kids who did not eat the marshmallow succeeded in their hero’s journey. My personal opinion on this is that
This attempts to explain that the gum is bursting with flavor and is why you should chose this over other types of fruit
I’m going to talk about other researcher experiment on “How long would it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Roll Pop”. Also my point of view on what I think about their say on their experiment about “How long would it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Roll Pop”. On the Tootsie Roll web page they had three scientific studies that have attempted to determined on how many licks it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Roll Pop. The first one is from a Purdue University where a “A group of engineering students from Purdue University reported that its licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Twenty of the group's volunteers assumed the licking challenge-unassisted by machinery-and averaged 252 licks each to the center”.
I never realized how gross wild strawberry and tangy citrus flavored Trident® Layers TM chewing gum tasted after 15 minutes. 58.6% of the mass of my sugar free piece of gum was lost after the experiment. Because the company had claimed that the gum contains no sugar, a type of sweetener must have been added instead. The flavor created by the sweeteners faded as the gum was chewed for a longer time. The sweetener had been absorbed and on its way to be digested little at a time.
The errors that could have occurred in this experiment include miscalculations of determining the mass, averages, and percentages of each brand of gum. In addition, chewing the gum for too long is another error that also could have happened. Furthermore, weighing the gum and wrapper incorrectly is also another error.
Rachel Mathews E 260 March 13, 2018 Dr. Shaun Morgan Paper #1 “Bitter in the Mouth” by Monique Truong explores race, gender and sexuality, and never had a definite theme. It starts off with a young, seven-year-old North Carolina girl, with many layered secrets, who name was Linda Hammerick. She stated that she “fell in love with” (1) her great-uncle Baby Harper. She also talks about her parents, DeAnne and Thomas, and her best friend, Kelly. She states that she was her father’s tomboy and her mother’s baton twirler and that she went far away for college and law school, now living in New York.
I hypothesized that Scott would break apart the fastest because it was the thinnest toilet paper and one-ply. For the wet test, how many pennies toilet paper could hold when wet, I put a piece of toilet paper on a plastic cup and
Commercial analysis http://www.paperrater.com/free_paper_grader This is an analysis of a commercial called “Hush-gum”, made in Sweden by a few teenagers at Polhemskolan. “Hush-gum” is a product that can be used when you meet someone that won’t keep their mouth closed, because it has a function that makes the eater quiet. There is a self-evident slogan for the product, which is also the name, “Hush-gum” and the catch phrase is “So delicious it makes you speechless”.
Hypothesis: Freshmen and sophomores will find it more challenging to resist candy then juniors and seniors. Materials: Candy, data recording sheet, pencil,
But some key points to watch out for though out the paper is a detailed summary of the book, more detail on how this has affected my life and also what are Walter Mischels credentials to be writing this book. The Marshmallow Test was an experiment by Walter Mischel in the late 1960’s and it was all about self-control in kids. He thought that self-control was a predictor of how well these kids would do in life, if they didn’t have any self-control in the experiment then they would hypothetically do worse than the kids who showed self-control in the experiment.
Other health impacts of chewing gum include increased reaction time, focus,
When was the idea of music appreciated? Was it in 325 when the spread of Christianity spurred the development of European music? Maybe in 1430 when the Renaissance period began and the rebirth of both Greek and Roman classic styles harmonized as one melody? Perhaps it was in 1600, the Baroque period that had highly strict musical forms for ornamental works? Many believe that the birth of the deaf German composer, Ludwig van Beethoven was the major musical figure that led us to one of the greatest periods of music between the Classical and Romance eras, the Viennese Classic.
