Introduction The Monterey County Department of Social Services (MCDSS) has a great impact on serving older adults in the Monterey County. The MCDSS has a variety of services in the county including the cities of Salinas, King City and Seaside. The MCDSS mission statement is very clear and precise in what they value and how they will help others value themselves. They have one goal and one goal only, to help serve the client.

Horn Elementary school is one of the many public school branches in the Alief district. I had the opportunity to observe the first grade class at this school. The school structure was similar to the other Alief schools, but the experience was very different. I learned how to handle children who are misbehaving and difficult. Horn Elementary mission statement is to provide a positive environment that promotes growth and develops thinkers.
Purpose: ADSO/CDSO assists their Command/Directors with the implementation and oversight of the organization/directorate with facility and workplace safety. Finally, the RMHC is a positive global influence. They give out millions in grants and scholarships to organizations and students. They have diverse ways of providing the care any family needs by the House, Family Room, or Care Mobile. This charity is value orientated making sure to make each location “a home away from home”.
BACKGROUND Knowing the background of the job of interest not only provides an upper hand but an idea of what type of atmosphere it has been throughout the years. Knowing the history, key individuals, purpose statement and values, and mission statements can sometimes persuade applicants to apply for a job with the institution. Encountering this information has become much easier with the use of the internet and search engines. History “Texas A&M University and Prairie View A&M University were first founded as land-grant colleges in 1876,” years later the A&M system was established in 1948 by the Texas Legislature.
y all across Canada there has been a big issue on Aboriginal homelessness, in this paper I will be talking about a program that has been created and planned of to what the program has to offer. Homelessness in Aboriginal population is in need of programs and services to make a change in the lives of those affected. The number has been estimated for homelessness in Canada is between 15,000 to 300,000 individuals experience homelessness in Canada (Segaert, 2012).
I am a member of the class of 2017 at Cornell University, and I am interested in working for the CIA with the Directorate of Operations. By next May, I will have received a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Performing and Media Arts. As I think about life after college, I have been thinking about how I will be able to change the world. Working for the CIA as part of the DO would be the ideal way to do so.

Its mission – “to unlock the potential of nature to improve the quality of life” is one which resonates with me amongst other companies listed. The mission and vision of an organization are statements of self-worth which communicates the organization’s purpose and aspirations. ” Mission statement is that which communicates an organization’s reason of being and how the organization aims to serve its key stakeholders.”
The inability and inaccessibility for some people in this world to not have access to the most basic necessities in life completely outrages me. These necessities include food, water, and shelter but also equally important is the access to standard medical care. Operation Smile, an organization close to my heart and one I have spent a large amount of time working with, goes into third world countries and provides medical care, specifically cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries. I was fortunate enough to go on an Operation Smile mission to Wenshan, China last June. During the mission the volunteer medical team screened, an in depth medical check up, just under 220 children and adults and operated on 129 patients.
Though Dr. Farmer mentioned many interesting topics, I would like to first discuss about how important it is for the community-based healthcare services to work together with an institutionalized health care services. According to Maurer and Smith,
The Community Health Centers HEALTHY CHILD program is devoted to childhood immunizations. Immunizations are the most cost effective prevention program and have the ability to protect from many diseases that can result in hospitalizations, healthcare provider visits, and premature deaths. This program is operated by the Community Health Center (WACHC) which provides health services to the community of Windy Apple, Washington. The HEALTHY CHILD program immunizes 4,000 children a year to protect the health of the community and to ensure that children are vaccinated for school. The HEALTHY CHILD program supports Group Health Community Foundation’s (GHCF) Childhood Immunization Initiative which has given nearly $5 million to public health jurisdictions
Introduction People hope and seeks long and healthier lives. Thus, health care is the act of taking preventative or necessary medical procedures to improve people well-being. Improvement or preventative may be done with surgery, the administering of medicine, or other alterations in a person 's lifestyle. These services are usually offered through a health care system made up of hospitals and physicians. Although, the health care system is set up to reduce or to prevent disease etc., there is a gap or disparity in the US health care system.
