My argument is that GPA is better than Standardized testing to predict students’ academic achievement. In some level, GPA are more accurate than Standardized test. Because GPA not only predict the achievements on the academic, but also valid the learning progress in the academic career. My purpose is to explain to my audience in what way GPA is better than Standardized test, and make my audience to believe GPA is more than just an academic predictor. My audience is targeting on college students. For the students, the GPA academic measurement can give them a fairer academic career. In the first part of my video, I basically just used slow motion to show the texts, picture and another components of my video. As we all know, one of my biggest argument in this video is Standardized testing is not a good predictor for college students measuring their academic achievements. So, the slow motion visually make audience to think standardized tests are low. Besides, I used exactly same movement to express standardized tests are boring. Nevertheless, in the second part of my video, I tried use multiple movements and quicker motion to show GPA is a good academic predictor for students measuring achievements in multiple ways, and multiple academic felids. The quicker motion especially claim GPA also efficient in some way. For instance, GPA is efficient for students indicating their life skills, which Standardized testing is unable to do that or much lower to do that. Anyway, using different motion speed and different movements are easy for me to manipulate my audiences’ emotion tendency, and also easy for my audiences understanding characteristics of GPA and Standardized
