As a summer camp counselor and child center worker, I have learned to communicate with children to understand their wants and need and I can also use my creativity and enthusiasm to ensure that the children are always having a fun time. Working in summer camps and child care centers, I always have a positive attitude and a smile on my face. Talking to the children in an optimistic and encouraging way and staying patient when them is something that I like to do to make the kids feel important and heard. Playing fun and creative games and laughing with the kids is the best part of my job because I want to leave the children with an experience that they remember as a good one. In my future as a pediatric physical therapist, I will carry these strengths and skills that I have absorbed from my work experience with kids. My optimism and communication skills will help me spread happiness in the world of healthcare and treat my future patients with kindess. I will use patient centered care to guarantee that I make a connection with each and every person I treat and to make certain that I treat every patient the same way that I would treat a family
