When working with the Young Democrats of Westminster, I could tell they were excited to have us at the meeting to guide them in their mission and vision statement making process. They seemed very eager to get our input, and wanted us to feel just as involved as they are in the club. Eunice seemed especially excited about our project. He thought a mission and vision statement would help them lay out some groundwork for their growing campus organization, and let the student body know where they stand. I feel the Young Democrats will benefit from knowing what their prerogative is.

I believe I can contribute both my optimistic attitude and my leadership skills to NJHS. My optimistic attitude allows me to never give up and hope for the best possible outcome of a situation, which helps me to finish projects with quality and effort before they are due,

The FBI formed this elite unite to help with the problems that could have arised in the 1984 summer olympics at Los Angeles. This highly trained team utilizes special equipment to resolve many issues. Some of this issues include hostage rescue, vehicle stops, air and land assaults, personnel protection, fugitive search and so much more. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.
“Never underestimate a FBI’s ability to find things out” (Unknown). FBI agents are people who investigate situations where harm is involved. Being an FBI agent has always been something that interests me. I have always liked solving things and this job is based a lot on solving investigations. I have never been interested in a laid back job, I have always wanted something more action based.
I think that the key message for young adults and teens throughout this movie has to be that trying to completely fit into and crowd and losing your sense of self is not worth it. When you begin to change who you truly are all you are doing it losing the inner person that you have grown to become. Allison and Emily were trying to fit in so badly that they forgot who they are and the moral and boundaries that were instilled in them. Another key take away from this film is the message that it is not always best to be just another puzzle piece that fits in with the crowd. By the end of the film Allison and Emily both began to realize how much they lost themselves in this double life that they were living, and so did their parents, finally.
