The Federal Bureau of Investigation is one of the domestic intelligence and security service of the United States America. The Bureau’s main priority is to protect and defend the United States from terrorist attacks, cyber-based attacks, white-collar crimes, and violent crimes. Law enforcement officers have used different training methods on newly assigned recruits versus Federal Bureau’s training. Preparing newly assigned candidates is one of the most important missions for the Federal Bureau of Investigations as well as local law enforcement because each candidate is expected to have intense skills, communication, and knowledge that enables him or her to investigate terror within the American soil. There is difference between law enforcement training methods and Federal Bureau of Investigation training. For example, candidates that are accepted in the Federal Bureau’s academy can be a difficult task, which new agents are expected to take countless hours of studying and engage in intense physical activities. Many departments are considering to raise their age requirements in order to hire a mature applicatant that have a better knowledge on life, which become a possibly a better officer (Chappell, 2008). Local law enforcement officers focused on protecting citizens and property within their coummity, however, federal agents are mandated to investigative recent crimes and collect activities. Federal Bureau of Investigation deveoped a virtual reality training that allows new recurits to grasp an understanding on real life situations such as bank robbery and kidnapping based on tactical skills.
