Mount Holyoke college says, “we continue to embolden women to break boundaries, shake off limits, and take lead.” implying that women’s attendance at Mount Holyoke College will gain them better opportunities that will help women grow mentally and financially. Mount Holyoke decided to be a women’s university “by choice” Mount Holyoke says, “[w]e attract world-class faculty and students because we are different” (1). In this type of environment women tend to “challenge themselves academically, Immerse themselves in campus life, and seek out leadership roles” (2), In the future these three key points pay off. According to Mount Holyoke, women who attend their college “stand up, stand out, and stand together” (2).
I am most attracted to Loma Linda University’s mission to make man whole and continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and its commitment to faith and science. As a Seventh-day Adventist christian, the motto to make man whole has never been more personal than it is now. As I grow in my experience as a christian, to further the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus continues to take center stage. This mission and an understanding of the need for whole person care is something I seek to demonstrate and encourage through my profession as a nurse and involvement in my community.
They really live out the Christ centered part of the mission. Everywhere I look as a student at LCU I see Christ. This has to be one of the most challenging parts of the mission LCU has to accomplish because of all the different backgrounds the

Transitioning from public school to catholic school was a huge obstacle to overcome. This transitioning helped me grow physically and intellectually. My mind was constantly challenged. I gained knowledge from this experience and learned how to apply it to certain situations. Growing intellectually requires one to take in new knowledge and that is exactly what I have done during my last four years at Mount St. Ursula.
First, I believe by obtaining my Master in Theology from Liberty University it has helped me develop a stronger and deeper understanding of God’s word. My studies at Liberty have set me up for success in the Doctorate Program at Liberty. Liberty seminary staff has very knowledge staff and motivates their students to excel in their studies and gain a full understanding God’s word. The instructors at the Rawley’s Seminary school has a great depth of knowledge and wants the seminary students to gain a deeper understanding of God’s word to be able to minster to other people around the world. We need strong Christian based teachers to educate not only the Churches, but the entire world on why we need to believe in our living God.
Finding Tufts was like grocery shopping: I had to pass through aisles of lackluster Wonder Bread before discovering the scrumptious sourdough I needed. I was captivated and surprised by the endearing personality that shone through the articles I read. My grandfather was an accomplished lawyer, my grandmother acquired Masters and a Doctorate Degree in Education at Stanford. My dad is a successful CFO and General Manager. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know one thing is certain; I want to have the best education I can achieve. I realize that it is not all about being book smart. I need to have the Catholic teachings my parents and the school I go to instill in me every day so that I can have the guidance I need that will help me make the right decision when the time comes.
Coming from a different culture but still embracing the Christian values that Loma Linda University emphasizes, I believe that my unique background and personal experiences distinguish my application from others. Growing up in Egypt, where the gap between social classes is significant, my parents always stressed the need to prioritize service into my life encouraging me to dedicate time in volunteering and helping others. As a result, my experience has grown from volunteering to serve as a camp leader for orphans in the summer to participating in international dental service trips. The University of Louisiana at Monroe has a diverse group of students, all of which are divided into different sub-cultures. Graduates are a group of students many people might define as responsible, mature, and even dedicated. They are slightly older than your average undergraduate student, and as a graduate assistant, many can be found in a professor’s class or office doing research. There are several types of graduate students with different cultural backgrounds. Focusing on the differences or similarities of the cultural dynamics between two graduates and how their upbringing prompted their academic choices.
I have chosen to apply to Covenant College because I seek a deeper relationship with the Lord that transcends into every area of my life, and I believe that I can facilitate that growth with the Christ-centered curriculum and community Covenant has to offer. I see the importance of being a witness to Christ at a secular university, but during my college education I want to better equip myself to proclaiming Christ in my profession and day-to-day living. Throughout the next formative years of my life, it is important to me to surround myself with young people who serve the Lord. Encouraged by conversations with my admissions counselor and information on the website, I believe I will easily mesh into the dynamic that exists at Covenant and cultivate lasting relationships. Sovereignty, fishing and hunting rights for subsistence, and the allowance of potlatches were especially prevalent. An 1872 Alaska court ruling gave Natives the same rights as non-Indians but didn’t recognize Native legal or political institutions. The sovereignty of Alaskan Native tribes was not recognized so the state asserted their own sovereignty and, defying the federal laws, claimed complete jurisdiction over the Natives living within their borders.

An Abortion is when a woman who has an unborn child, that she does not want, gets the pregnancy aborted. In other words the woman gets the unborn child killed. Abortions were made legal in the United States of America 45 years ago. In that time, there has been strong debates on both sides of the argument.
I understand that this commitment invites me to live my life in a way that honors God and the community where God has placed me. I understand that as an ordained person I will be in a leadership role and therefore looked upon by others as a representative of the church and Christian faith. I consider this to be a great honor and an even greater responsibility. I dedicate my life to witness to the Gospel and commit my entire self, including my body, mind and spirit, to wholeness and wellness. I will make emotional and mental maturity my number one priority.
