In 1998 when scientists first took cells from human embryos, it has sparked many debates on whether this research is ethical or not. In 2006, President Bush had vetoed the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005 and 2007 to not further the research, but in 2009 President Obama had overturned this order to allow the National Institutes of Health have their research funded. Controversies arise on the topic of stem cells because its mostly experimental and never guaranteed results. It is true that there is chance for the body to see the cells as foreign and reject it but with the right technology and research in the future this problem can be minimized or ideally eliminated. If people are ultimately worried that this treatment could be harmful or non effective then don’t make this treatment source your fist on the list. Most of this argument is caused as a result of conflicting of philosophical, religious, and scientific beliefs and can’t be solved due to clashing of beliefs on when human life
