Is there hope for individuals who have no other help with their diseases and illnesses? Many individuals start to believe that they have no other option then to let the disease run its course. Stem cells offer a type of hope that everyone would like to receive during their stages of life. In reality, everyone's time will come, but if there is a slight chance of prolonging it, why not take the chance? Currently, stem cell research is being conducted to help aid scientist in establishing new treatments and possibly cures for certain illnesses and diseases. If scientists are able to have a breakthrough with stem cell research, then the lives of many suffering individuals could be altered and improved. Research that is being conducted now will allow for growth in the future. The future of possibilities is what everyone relies on when it comes to possible treatment of diseases.

It is difficult to prove that the stem cell transplants are effective and that there are minimal risk when performing the procedures. Where the cells come from, allows for hesitation because they do require human embryos. Some individuals see the embryo as more than just a cell, but not necessarily a living organism. On the other hand, individuals believe that it is the duty of mankind to present embryos to the scientist in order to find treatments for the diseases that some people develop. If everyone would think about how "day after day, doctors and nurses can offer only temporarily relief for people they cannot cure; relatives and friends give devoted care and support but know there is only one tragic outcome," then it would be easier for scientist to be able to do research without the concerns individuals have (Stem Cells science and ethics, 2016). With so many viewpoints, it is hard for scientist to truly answer questions that arise about the stem
