H. There are many things in my room that is unnecessary. For example, the stuffed penguin that I got from the rodeo is collecting dust in the corner of my room. More than half the things in my room are not useful to me. Society tends to purchase multiple useless things. Most people tend to buy things because of its advertising. If there are cute animals or babies on an item more people tend to purchase that item than if it did not advertise cute animals/babies on the item. Most people in modern day society tend to hoard/purchase unnecessary things or buy more expensive items because of the advertising. Society is more likely to buy nonessential products because of its advertising techniques. We accumulate things that we do not need because of sparkles, glitter or other persuasion tricks. Companies know what do advertise so that more people are inclined to purchase their items. Multiple nonesential items can be found on shower racks.In my shower, there are various types of shampoo, conditioner, body washes, shaving cream and face washes. In the end, the different types of shampoo do the same thing: remove the dirt from one's hair. There is no need to buy multiple variations of the same product. Many cleaning/hair care companies advertise that their product makes one’s hair shiner after 1 week of regular use, but in reality, almost 90% of the time, your hair looks the same after a week. Companies use celebrities and models to advertise their product. Many people are inclined to buy the product with a more universal known brand name, and most of the time, the well known brand can be much more expensive than the knock-off brand.
