He was the CEO of Apple, so he made a lot of money from his innovations and inventions. Before he died, he had planned to have something very extravagant be built. Apple had bought him a 90 million dollar jet, but with his money he had a very expensive yacht be built and customized for him. This yacht is called the “Venus”. It started construction in 2005 and wasn’t finished until after Steve’s death in 2013. It cost an extra 40 million dollars for the customizations on the boat.
