Using organizational charts can help establish what student affairs professionals are strong at which can lead to the appropriate assignments of jobs, tasks, and coordination of ideas and what can be implemented in these courses and development of connection with the institution and community. Being able to foster ones potential and talents within the organization we want to take into consideration of the fir of a person and how they can contribute to the system that we are trying to develop so that it is a success this is an example of a humanistic approach. Having student affairs professionals that know the needs of what we are assessing and trying to build within the department contributes to the humanistic approach. Being able to collaborate with diverse individuals and organizations helps identify what the goals are and shows were the power is within that organization. The last framework is the symbolic frame, which focuses on the mission, values and vision of the department or organizations. By doing so this helps establish meaning of what the department or organization is here to do. This can create a sense of unification and inspirations amongst the other departments and/or organizations. For each of the framework I think it would be important to assess what it is that your department is doing and find which approach would be best, based off of projected outcomes, and strengths and weaknesses of each framework.
