Charley Patton was the scrawny child of sharecropper parents. In 1900, his family moved 100 miles north to the Delta and the Will Dockery Plantation. There Patton fell under the spell of guitarist Henry Sloan and would follow him to gigs. By 1910, he had become proficient as a performer and songwriter, having already composed "Down The Dirt Road Blues," a slow drag called "Banty Rooster Blues," and his theme song "Pony
They had entered the land of the contentious; also known as hell. The author used the perfect back and forth dialogue in every argument. The constant conflict between the main characters distracts us from what is really going on. I also like how he uses each floor to represent stages

The play “Subterranean Homesick Blues Again” by Dennis Reardon the genre is drama. The description of the introduction of the play is humorous. At the beginning it was funny because the characters were joking around, but as the play goes on and the family takes a trip then the play turned to horror because they found once they went they can never go back so they were stuck forever. Overall i enjoyed this play because this play consises of many many characters which makes it more fun to read because it can understand where are they coming from. Another thing i enjoyed the most is the way the author developed it to make it more entertaining.
In the drama “Subterranean Homesick Blues again” by Dennis Reardon is about a group of people going into the caverns, but it has a deeper meaning thanks to the tour guide who isn’t your average tour guide. This tour guide gives such a different and deeper meaning in the play. It’s about life and death and you’ll see that around the end how the “tour” concludes. My initial reaction to this play was shocked on how the play went from 0-100 since you think that there just in a cavern, but then they end up in hell.
Dante’s Inferno is an epic poem by Durante “Dante” degli Alighieri, written in the 1300s. He wrote a trilogy, known as the Divine Comedy, consisting of Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise. Dante was inspired by many events and issues happening at that time, such as the war between Guelphs and Ghibellines, the Battle of Montaperti, and Christian religious beliefs. Subterranean Homesick Blues Again is a comedic play that soon turns tragic written by Dennis Reardon. The fantasy truly grasps of the horror between life and death as a young tour guide leads two bickering couples on a ghoulish path to hell, all the while to tousling with their minds. As the couples slowly deteriorate level by level, they realize much too late the danger around them; weeping as their souls and minds are consumed by the darkness of the treacherous cavern. Reardon portrays this elevator to hell as a series of floors that only seem to descend.
Leaving Rome, the demigods board the Argo II, and try to fly east unsuccessfully over the Mountains, worn out by mountain gods. Arion takes Hazel to Hecate, who tells Hazel four directions in which she can take and the horrors with them. Hazel picks route, through a secret pass, in which she must use the Mist. “The Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash explains how Hester felt as she sat in the prison cell awaiting her punishment with infant, Pearl. The song talks about an inmate who is describing everything good about the free world. Johnny Cash sings, “and I ain’t seen the sunshine, since I don’t know when.” This is similar to The Scarlet Letter because Hester is never portrayed as being in the sunlight just like Johnny Cash describes. He talks about what is happening in the outside world and how, if he had the choice, he would move as far away from the prison as possible.

As the characters navigate the maze, they confront the presence of an unseen power manipulating their lives. Simultaneously, the maze acts as a catalyst, forcing them to confront their inner struggles and delve deep within themselves to uncover their true identities. Through this dual representation, the novel combines the themes of authority, control, and self-discovery, showcasing the intricate relationship between external forces and internal growth. The ever-shifting nature of the maze, coupled with the numerous trials the characters endure, serves as a powerful symbol of their profound lack of control over their circumstances and the pervasive authority that WICKED exerts over their lives. The boys find themselves captured by the WICKED in an enigmatic realm they struggle to comprehend.
