Success is what people strive for everyday and people often associate it with having a big, extravagant house, the latest cars and having insanely amounts of money. They base it on popularity and how many “likes” they have on social media. That is what their goal is in life, having people following them everywhere and taking overly edited selfies. Our parents have the biggest influence in our lives, they are the ones that set our views on what the definition of success means. People who have a normal life and the right people around them, seem to be the happiest. The term success can be interpreted in different ways, but the way I see it, I think it truly means to have a good education, family and a career.
Parents have a huge influence on what the meaning of success is. As children, they would wake us up early to go to school every day, join in extracurricular school activities and have us study on our free time. When we were kids, we didn’t know how important it is to have a good education. It can be your mom and dad, your significant other, your own kids or even close friends. Having that group of people to push you further in life can help you succeed your goals and it can have an impact on anyone’s life. Being surrounded with positivity can influence you to do a lot of good things, and that is what success means. Whether you go through hardships, or feeling alone at some point, it’s nice to turn to your family and just being around that loving environment. No one wants to be alone in this world, and some are, that is why spending time with people who are considered as family is so important.
