Despite what many might think, Murder Suicide is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. Murder Suicide has been around for several centuries and has a very important meaning in the lives of many. It would be safe to assume that Murder Suicide is going to be around for a long time and have an enormous impact on the lives of many people. What can we do to stop the killing? Murder-suicides are nearly always committed with a gun, and it is critical to stop potential killers from having easy access to firearms. One important step would be to restrict access to guns for individuals who have a history of domestic violence or have threatened suicide. Guilt can be caused by a number of things. Kevin Sites mentioned in an interview with former war veterans that civil destruction and collateral damage is one of the worst and most enduring legacy from a war. Having the burden of guilt in one’s mind and in one’s heart can be extremely dangerous to themselves and others. The burden of guilt can drive people to many different experiences and action. For example, in Edgar Allen Poe’s, The Tell Tale Heart, the narrator had guilt from killing an innocent elder man which led him to hearing things then confessing to the authorities. The fact that one would even go to the point of killing someone is terrifying to some. Sites also mentioned in the interview that you have to put personal beliefs away while in war. One will have to decide whether you are going to fight for one’s country or one’s personal beliefs. The most important precondition for moral injury is a sense of transgression in one’s mind and body (Sites).
