On October 3, 1974, at around 10:45 pm, Elton Hymon and Leslie Wright of the Memphis Police Department were responding to a “prowler on the inside” call. They made the scene and observed a woman in the house next to the intended home of the call. She was standing on her front porch pointing at the house. She advised that she had heard glass breaking and someone was breaking into the house next door. As Wright showed both officers on the scene on his radio to dispatch, Hymon went to the rear of the house.
Spoke to Vivian Ortiz (DOB 6/20/75) who stated that her juvenile son (16 years old), Elijah Perez (DOB 7/3/99), was being destructive and threw things around the house when she asked him to turn off the oven after he used it. Ortiz stated Perez had been diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder and he had not been taking his medication or to his therapy. Ortiz also mentioned that she opened the case with DYFS to evaluate him and the case was still opened. Ortiz stated that Perez threw some baseball cards, laundry bin, trashes and made mess inside of the refrigerator. We weren’t able to speak with Perez as he walked out of the house prior to our arrival.
In Steubenville, Ohio, a sixteen-year-old girl was attending a local high school party with her friends. The girl was more intoxicated than others and refused to go home after the party was shut down. She then joined a group of guys who were going to another party and when they get there, the girl was too drunk to remember anything else. Two of the boys that were with her were Trent Mays and Malik Richmond. Both of them were football players at Steubenville High School, which was a big deal in small town Steubenville.
CCIB Intake received referral #0923-2901-5102-8047131 from reporting party (RP) Katie Hacker Sierra Child and Family Services staff member. According to the RP child Shawn Williams age 10, informed a group home staff member (name not provided) on the morning of 9/26/16 that during the night his roommate Arthur Hammett age12 had touched him in his "inappropriate parts." Shawn failed to provide any specifics regarding the incident and the RP didn 't question him due to his frequent fabrications as of late. To the RP knowledge, Arthur has not displayed this type behavior before, however Shawn has a history of sexualized behaviors which has been previously reported to CPS.
On Saturday 11/14/2015 at 2322 hours, Security Supervisor Steven Evans along with Officer Omar Alonso responded to a call for assistance at the Results Waiting area of the Emergency Department. Upon arrival at 2323 hours we were told by a Patient Tech that Nurse Lisette Van Windt had already taken the patient to room # 59. It was explained to Security that the patient, Brenda Pemberton (FIN #84838930) was arguing in a loud manner with her husband and upsetting the other patients in the results waiting area. Security staff reported to room # 59 and were told to wait outside while Nurse Van Windt spoke to the patient about her behavior. At 2134 hours, Registered Nurse Van Windt stepped outside of the room and stated that the situation was under
Officer Perez reports being dispatched to a disturbance at 11 Langton. Perez arrived on scene and met with Ann Mcelroy that stated she lost her phone and found that 2 kids had possession of the phone and was able to get the phone returned to her. Mcelroy stated she wanted to make a report of her phones information had been erased and was concerned of any personal information that was possibly had been taking prior to her getting her phone back. Perez had Mcelroy complete a witness statement form.
On 5-20-16, Bridget and James were apprehended in a wooded area in Citronelle, AL. Bridget was considered to be a runaway from Lucedale. They both were taken to the police department. Bridget appeared to be intoxicated on drugs. She admitted to having sex multiple of times with James.
On 11/5/16 at approximately 1554 hrs, I was dispatched to a fight at Davis Field (6050 78th Ave N, Pinellas Park FL). Upon my arrival I made contact with Yakail Brunson who advised herself and her sister was battery by a group of individuals at the game. Brunson was crying and was in distraught at the moment, I told her to relax and explain the details. Brunson advised she was jumped by multiple subjects in the crowd because she asked the Lakewood cheerleader coach why niece daughter wasn’t cheering.
Karen and her friends went door to door to their friends’ houses asking for stories to go in the newspaper. Karen went to Charlie’s house and snuck into Charlie’s room and found a $5 bracelet for his girlfriend and put it into their newspaper without asking Charlies for permission to do so first. On Tuesday 1-10-17 at approx. 11:30 AM, student Erin Turner came to the security office to report being struck by another classmate, Anthony Brown. Erin Turner a 4th grade student was interviewed on 1-10-17 at approx. 11:30 AM. Student Turner stated that on Monday 1-9-17 Anthony Brown slapped her on the face as they were returning to their classroom from lunch.
On Wednesday May 13, 2014 a 6 year old kindergarten, Ian, was grabbed by his teacher. Not only was he picked up, but Ian’s mother states that there was a bruise on the back of his head. Video evidence shows the young kindergartner trapped between a wall and a furious teacher. We are not quite sure what Barb WIlliam’s motive was. Possibly the mental stress and the pressure the end of the school year, or possibly the fact that it was the middle of the week.
The morning or 2-2-16, Laquez was washing clothes, and he used all of the detergent. The mother (Tyronda) threw a beer bottle and hit him on his right shoulder; his should is sore (no mark seen). Tyronda threatened him with a hammer and knife. She called the police, and the police went to remove Laquez for his protection. Tyronda verbally stated that she hope he got run over by a vehicle.
These men then proceeded to strip Audrie of her clothes leaving her completely naked on the bed. To make matters worse, the males took a marker and drew all over her body. On 08/28/15 Dakota told his teacher he had an ear ache outside his ear and the ear was visibly red. Later during the day, Dakota was pulled away from the class and told his teacher he and his brother had an argument before school on 08/28/15. The child’s sibling told their father and the father hit Dakota really hard in his ear, against his head; the father did not say anything afterwards. Dakota told his teacher he fell to the ground and his ear quit working. Dakota ran to his mother after the incident and she told him “don’t worry he’s leaving”.
