Does college truly have value in the real world? Recently, debate has sparked on whether there really is value in going to college. On Dec 16, 2018, Derek Newton published an article, Please Stop Asking Whether College Is Worth It, in Forbes, replying to the article, College May Not Be Worth It Anymore, by Ellen Ruppel Shell. Derek is telling students who have read the article that college does in fact “pay off” in today's society. He is encouraging students to continue on the college pathway.
