Summary Of The Lyle And Louise Case

Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the jury. My name is Alex Victorine and I am here to prove my client's innocence in the Lyle and Louise case. On trial before is John Wayne Gretzky, Larry Gretzky, and Mitch Wilson. My three clients are in danger of serving potential time for murder. This case started with the mysterious death of Louise Mondelo and her two children, Wally and Jan. One summer night a women, who appeared to be Ms. Mondello and her two children were driving on the highway, when they suddenly derailed and flipped over the side of Backbone Mountain. The three bodies were severely burned and could not be identified. Due to personal remains at the scene, investigators concluded the three people to be Louise, Wally, and Jan Mondelo.

Lyle being the number one suspect has now been found dead. That also left the unidentified women in the crash to be identified. Forensic testing to get an understanding on time of death. Maggots were taken from the body to determine when the bodies were initially dead. This indicated that the bodies have been dead for over a week. This also means the the bodies were dead before the storm. Other forensic testing was done to relate the evidence at the scene. Footprint analysis was used to find what shoe matched the print at the scene. DNA analysis was used to identify the bodies in the cabin. Types of evidence related to this case would be arson, bite marks, questioned documents, blood detection and blood spatter. The arson evidence relates to the car crash and how the car was burned to hide the evidence. The evidence from the bite mark cleared up my client, John’s story who stated he was in a bar fight the night prior to when being questioned. The use of blood spatter helped investigators determine where the victim was killed in the cabin and how many possible killers there were. Blood detection helped discover what killed the

The question was who? After trying to contact Lyle, my client John Wayne Gretzky was questioned about his friend and business partner. John had informed officers that Lyle had been falling into deep depression due to troubles at their business along with troubles he had at home. John Gretzky was Ms.Mondelo's high school sweetheart. Over time Lyle and John became very close. Among moving back to Louise's hometown when Lyle and her became married, Lyle and John decided to start their business together; Tumbling Water Co, so they would not have to compete with one another. A year after starting their business, Louise had her first child; Wally. After further DNA testing was done it appeared that my client John is the father of Wally. Therefore the state wants you to believe that my client killed the woman who was having an affair with along, with his long lost child. John has been known to be a businessman, who has no history of excessive violence, prior to the bar fight he was in. When Louise had her second child, Tumbling Water Co. became very successful. Louise and Lyle also seemed as if their relationship was healthy
