I chose this book due to my interest in psychological behaviors of people, and also because I wanted to learn more about Dahmer’s motives behind all of his murders. From the unbiased view of an investigative author, Masters was able to masterfully recount the chilling story of a serial killer, while also analyzing the psychological aspects and societal impacts of Dahmer’s life, shedding light on the complexities of Dahmer's character and the horrific nature of his actions.
