All the equipment of the hospital is kept inside the hospital for daily use and the extra ones are kept in the storage for the backup. Financial department of the hospital is responsible for the budget. There are two responsible centers; the cost centers and the profit center. The cost center mangers can control cost and profit center manager can control both costs and revenues (Baker & Baker, 2014, p.174). The operation management team is responsible for delivering good quality of care and services by having professional staff who are appropriate for their positions. Also, they oversee every department’s work performance and attract more customers. Therefore, they need to work close with customer service department to improve customer’s demand. Competitors have a huge impact, it can lead another organization toward failure, if don’t compete with them. For example, the competitors can have better services, Up-to-date equipment, well experienced professionals such as nurses, doctors or other technicians and better environment for both employees and patients. Therefore, it is important to identify the competitor, and their services and equipment to provide better services and good quality of care for patients. Also, it is important to understand the patients’ needs and demand and act accordingly to keep them satisfied. In addition, the hospital should “differentiate” itself from competitors to make patients come back (Marketing Donuts, 2018, para.1). The good way to differentiate is to practice more spirituality in the workplace. As stated, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22, 2018, Open Bible, para. 1). Spirituality is more important since most often competitors provide the same services and quality of care, what makes you a head of them is to build good relationship with them and satisfy them through spirituality and show them you are there to listen to their every single problem.
