Would you rather be rescued from an unknown island that no one knows about or live there and hunt wild pigs to survive? In “Lord of the Flies”, a plane is being shot at and all the passengers are dropped off at an unknown island and try to survive there long enough until the plane comes back for them. Unfortunately, the plane never comes back and the passengers end up separating into twp groups and trying to survive .One of the tribes is ruled by Ralph, who tries to keep a fire going for ships to see the smoke, so they can be rescured. The other tribe is ruled by Jack who kills pigs for food and steals from Ralph’s tribe and hurts innocent people from different tribes. To do that he kept a fire burning at all times to produce smoke for ships that pass by to see. While Jack’s tribe is focused on learning how to live there and adapting to the environment to be able to survive there for a long time. He takes boys from his tribe to go hunting, killing pigs and stealing from Ralph’s tribe, Jack doesn’t always do the right thing… he thinks that they will never be rescued and adapts to eating pigs to keep from starving to death.. To survive you need food, most of the savages ( the boys ) are usually always hungry. The littluns in Ralph’s tribe tend to eat fruit most of the day, but unlike Ralph’s tribe Jack kills pigs daily, when doing this he doesn’t think about the pig population. He tends to kill sowls and babies instead of bores.He dosen’t bother to share with Ralph but makes sure that everyone in his tribe is fed properly.
