The book “Sweet Charity” is one of three books in the series “The Horseshoe Trilogies” written by Lucy Daniels.

This book is about a young girl named Josie Grace and her horses; Faith, Hope, and Charity. Charity, Josie, and her friends go on a wild adventure when Josie finds out her parents don’t have enough money to keep Grace Stables, she’s lived in since she was born, and they have to move in a house where there is not any room for horses. Which meant the horses had to be sold.

Josie’s friends; Anna, and Kirsty, who ride the horses at their stables were upset to hear that the horses were going to be sold. Especially Kirsty because she loved charity!

She bellowed for her parents and sprinted outside and the stall charity was in was wide open. But it didn’t look like anyone had broken in. it looked like it had been unlocked from a key and the one under the pot was missing! Mrs. Grace called the police to investigate the scene. Josie noticed charity’s tack and saddle was missing and knew someone had not stolen charity.

Kirsty’s mom came running to the stables when she was crying wondering where Kristy was! Josie had a pretty good idea where she was. She knew Kirsty was so attached and heartbroken when she found out they were selling charity, so it must have been Kirsty who took off with charity.
